Need information from Parish records, Bishops transcripts, or Civil Registration records but cannot do the searches yourself?
We undertake searches of records for England and Wales on a fee-for-service basis.
As anyone who has searched for information in original records will tell you, the searching is tedious, time-consuming, and often not very productive. In other words, even though we may spend a considerable amount of time in a search, we cannot guarantee that you will get all, or even some, of the information that you had hoped for, for the fees you have paid. At the same time, you know that the only reliable way of finding your real ancestors is by reference to original records or to filmed copies of these records.

You should include as much information as possible about them. Where you believe they were born, married, died, for example. Who were their parents, siblings, and children. Any additional information which would enable us to make a more effective search will be most useful. We cannot emphasize enough that it is far too easy to follow the wrong path.
Good documentation is an absolute necessity.

Fees:
Search time is charged in units of 15 minute increments, with an minimum initial charge of 2 units. You should put a maximum limit on the number of units you wish to pay for.
For a limited time the charge per unit of search time is GB£10 or US$15.
Mail to the above address the full details of the ancestors you are searching for. Copies of any official records you may have will be extremely useful in shortening the time we will need to search. In addition, please fill out and send the information requested below together with any questions you may have. |
